Veggie Fries: Put Good Stuff Into Snack Time

September 21, 2015

Kenda over at Remaking June had some really great things to say about Veggie Fries:

—————–

I participated in an Influencer Activation on behalf of Influence Central for Veggie Fries. I received product samples to facilitate my review as well as a promotional item to thank me for my participation. All opinions and reviews are my own.

My children have never had a problem eating. They eat… a lot. Unfortunately, it’s not always things that are the best for them. They usually don’t complain when it comes to having fruit instead of candy or water instead of soda. But, one thing they refused to budge on is french fries. I could make a great lunch and eventually one of them would say, “And fries too, please!” While baked potato slices aren’t the worst thing they could have, new Veggie Fries are even better.

Look tasty, yes? They are. They combine the delicious taste and texture of my family’s much loved french fry with real vegetable nutrition. Veggie Fries come in several different flavors, are 27% vegetable and bean, and each serving of Veggie Fries contains TWO servings of vegetables. They’re also a good source of fiber, Vitamin A or C, are low in sodium, and provide over 3 grams of protein per serving.

Doesn’t sound like a french fry, does it? Don’t worry, Veggie Fries are still your family’s favorite ‘fast’ food in all the ways that matter: great flavor, crispy coating and tasty seasoning.

Have food allergies at home? What about dietary health concerns? You’re going to love this. Veggie Fries products are made with all natural, non-GMO ingredients and are gluten-free. Veggie Fries are Vegan and free of soy, dairy, tree nuts, peanuts and eggs.

I’m Tired of Sneaking Veggies Into My Child’s Food!

I think we’ve all done that. “What?.. no…that’s not a piece of broccoli…it’s a…um…new type of green pasta…” Been there. Done that. But what are we teaching them? To still avoid vegetables! Instead of sneaking vegetables into meals, Veggie Fries are great way to teach that vegetables are good for you AND they can also be delicious!

Veggie Fries are available in Stop & Shop grocery stores now with Broccoli and Carrot flavors. I guess the broccoli is quite popular because our local Stop & Shop was sold OUT when I went shopping. I grabbed two bags of the carrot flavor and next time the broccoli will be mine!

We’d like to extend a big thank you to Remaking June for this glowing review.
